The Christian Reformed Church, founded in
1857, is a Protestant church in the Calvinist
tradition. We are biblically based, worship the
triune God and teach a worldview centered on
faith, action and the family. We are committed
to Christian education and active in media,
missions, publishing, relief and development,
pastoral care and youth ministry.
GEMS Girls' Clubs is a relationship building,
club program created especially for girls and
offered through local churches. Girls in first
through eighth or ninth grades are eligible for
membership in a club. Games, crafts, singing,
learning important life skills through badge
work, discussing Bible stories and learning how
to apply these teachings to life, as well as
discovering solutions to many of the challenges
that face girls today, are all a part of the
club experience.
The Calvinist Cadet Corps is an independent
youth ministry organization who's goal is to
help boys grow spiritually in all areas of life
(devotional, mental, physical, and social) by
providing Christian men with a uniquely designed
structure, program, and materials so that they
can mentor boys effectively.
Youth Unlimited is a Christ-centered youth
ministry that supports over 500 member churches
across the United States and Canada. Their
mission is to assist youth ministry efforts in
the local church to effectively reach junior
high (early teen) and senior high youth with the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. They carry out its
mission by offering a wide variety of resources,
service opportunities, special events and
leadership training. All the services of Youth
Unlimited are shaped through seeking God's
vision for ministry interpreted through a
Reformed perspective in diverse social and
ethnic contexts.
The back to God hour is the radio and
television ministry of the Christian Reformed
Church. Listen to the back to God hour on KTIS
am 900 on Sundays at 4 pm.
This is the church planting and educational
arm of the CRC's international outreach. Almost
300 long-and short-term missionaries serve in
about 30 countries around the globe, proclaiming
the gospel and developing churches.
Calvin Christian School, with campuses in
Edina, Blaine and Crystal, offers a Christ-centered
Christian education for students in grades K-9, with plans
to be K-12 by fall 2007.
