Todd Harold Hilkemann
"Pastor Todd"
I grew up in a Christian home in Omaha, Nebraska. During those early years, my Christian life and worldview was largely shaped through a local Presbyterian church. While there I learned to love the Lord, to participate in the life of the local church, and to cherish reformed theology.
I attended college at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. During my three plus years a Wheaton I began to understand the true nature of Christian community through living on campus and developing some life-long friendships. I also developed a deeper love for studying God’s word and the academic study of the Bible and theology.
After college I spent time as a teacher, and youth pastor. In 2002 I married Jennifer who is the love of my life and my treasured partner. In early 2003 we traveled to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where I received a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis on preaching and missions. In January of 2006 we welcomed Isaiah Robert into the world as the third member of our family.
As the pastor of Congregational Life I am committed to empowering the members and friends of Calvary Church to grow in their love for God’s word, their life of obedience in the world, and their love for each other. I have a passion for preaching, teaching, missions, and enabling others to live out God’s call on their life.
