Middle School Mission Trip

Holland, Michigan

Holland, Michigan is located on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan and is a city that is becoming more and more culturally diverse with every year.  During our time in Holland there will be a variety of ministries from the Holland area that we will have the opportunity to partner with including the Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, Lakeshore Elementary School, Ditto’s Resale Store, Harderwyk Ministries, Macatawa Resource Center, Holland Rescue Mission and more. There will be a varied number of service sites including general clean up, working with special needs [homeless, elderly, mentally challenged, etc.] light construction, painting and whatever else we can be used to do!

This SERVE project will focus on serving aboriginal families in Regina, especially in the core area. Indian Metis Christian Fellowship (IMCF) is a ministry of the Christian Reformed Church that has been working effectively in central Regina for over 25 years. With their assistance and expertise we hope to help families with minor home repair and beautification, offer VBS on site at IMCF to elementary age kids in Northcentral, and assist other helping agencies, like the Food Bank or the Circle Project, in their delivery of services.
